Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy moves HC for bail
New Delhi, Jan 12, (PTI):
Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy today moved the Delhi High Court seeking anticipatory bail in the case filed against him for writing an allegedly "inflammatory" article.
Swamy's plea, filed through counsel Maheen Pradhan, will be heard by Justice M L Mehta tomorrow.
In October last year, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police had registered an FIR against Swamy for writing an article in a newspaper in July last year which police said tended to spread enmity between communities.
However, Swamy has denied all the charges levelled by the Delhi police in the FIR.

Yes. Swami should take bails. Because Nehruvian Congress wants him behind bars though Nehruvian Congress leaders themselves are liable to get arrested on non-bailable warrant.
ReplyDeleteNow that the hearing of the involvement of Chidambaram is coming up on 21 January, the government may forestall by arresting Swamy before that, possibly on coming Friday, the 20th Jan.
